The Halfway Bridge Inn is a great food pub that also welcomes drinkers! This small 17th century pub has several interconnecting rooms adding to the charm of the place, with a modern very stylish country cosy feel to it. Eat at solid wooden tables with a mixture of comfortable wooden seats, benches and leather chairs. While the Halfway Bridge has a good reputation for food, locals can be seen popping in for a drink at the bar, with stalls to accommodate! The food is fabulous and the service very good, and particularly friendly. The rooms are in a separate barn conversion across the road from the pub offering excellent charming modern lodgings overlooking a private lawn.

The open plan eating area is located at the back of the pub and serves good quality food, with traditional Sunday lunches. The restaurant, with its large floor to ceiling windows leads out to a terrace with modern wooden furniture and parasols, where people can eat or drink. There are also four rooms offering accommodation. Children under 8 are not allowed in the pub but are very welcome in the beer garden. |

The Fox Goes Free is an attractive looking old pub built with brick and flint and dating back to the 16th century. A popular pub with the locals, it has much character including inglenook fireplaces, old pews, brick floors and beamed ceilings.
The large garden makes this a very popular pub during the summer months, with extensive seating overlooking gloroius views of unspoilt countryside, as well as seating at the front of the pub. The pub is set in the beautiful countryside of Goodwood Estate at the bottom of the South Downs, ideal for walking and only about a mile from the racecourse.

Enjoy good pub grub served by friendly staff and a very welcoming landlord, whose Grandfather invented Bovril! In the warmer months, enjoy the garden and a terrace area.
