Charming country pub dating back to the 16th century, with a pretty garden in which to eat during the summer months and a cosy bar with open fireplace to drink during the winter. The Withies Inn is a fabulous old pub with huge character, low beamed ceilings and an open fireplace with the smell of burning wood greet you as you walk through the door. The decor is inkeeping with the tradiional pub that it is; beautifully dim lighting, deep red and brown furnishings and wooden bar, tables and chairs. Waiters are dressed in waist coats and black ties and the food is fabulous. The Withies is a popular pub, particularly on hot summer days, and it is highly recommended that you book if you are considering visiting. During the summer months the pretty garden has gingham covered tables arranged across the lawn and on one side of the garden is the pergola with tables neatly positioned beneath, helping to provide shade whilst dining.
