Sunday Lunch in Oxfordshire

Tucked away at the end of a single track lane, this is a very rustic pub with huge character due to the unspoilt nature of the place.  There is no bar and beer is drawn directly from casks in the cellar.  Low beams, titled floors and open fireplaces all remain from years gone by, with empty bottles lining the walls and book shelves. The pub has a good reputation for food, particularly its Sunday lunches.

The Leatherne Bottel has an idyllic waterside setting beside the River Thames, which both the stylish restaurant and the outside terrace overlooking the river.  Swish, cosy restaurant where you can choose from the  a la carte menu or tasting menu.  A la carte menu dishes include seared fillet of wild sea bass, crab & pea risotto and sweet chilli jam or Saddle of venison, lemon thyme fondant potato, creamed leeks, roast garlic cloves and juniper sauce.

Luxury 15th century manor house hotel owned by Raymond  Blanc.  The modern French restaurant has been awarded two Michelin Stars.  Luxury suites and bedrooms, beautiful gardens, with a two acre herb and vegetable garden, pond and Japanese Tea Garden.

Located in the beautiful area of Burford in the Cotswolds, the charming 15th century building of the Lamb Inn oozes traditional country inn style with its wisteria-clad walls, mullioned windows and walled cottage garden.
